What is Twitcher?

Twitcher is a WordPress plugin for Streaming and VOD management. Twitcher uses the Twitch API (Helix) to sincronice the Twitch Video and Streaming list and publish it as a custom post type (Streamings).
We expect to create a tool that really helps content creators, streamers and any person that want to begin to monetize their passion transforming their subscribers and followers into members and customers.

We want to develope the best experience for our customers, and became a gate to WordPress begginers and new streamers, and make for them an easy integration, and an easy way to became content creator. We know thats a long way, and we want to make it quick. For that reason, we collect certain public data from WordPress.

Data Collection

When visitors leave comments on this site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

When you install Twitcher on your site we can collect 3 types of data in 3 different levels:

  • Twitch Channel Data
  • Personal Data

Data usage

Twitcher capture WordPress data like site URL, WordPress versión, PHP version and Plugins you use the most (for integrations purposes).
Installation process will ask you for share Twitch data with us (we collect info like channel name, subscribers and followers). We want to help you to grow your channel bringing users to your channel and this public twitcher data is collected for SEO and analytics.
Also you could accept to share with us your mail and name to keep on contact with you and let you know important information about Twitcher.
Your data only will be used internally and we will not share or sell any info to private or public institution, unless legal infringement

Media

If you upload images to this website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Twitcher as plugin don’t collect media. Twitcher act as a Twitch frame, embedding your twitch videos direct from Twitch as an iframe. Twitcher will not download any video to your WordPress site, and Thumbnail image is showed direct from Twitch.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
